Kashmiri soldier dies in Leh, family appeals to LG to get the body airlifted

Budgam, Feb 25, 22: A Budgam family Friday appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to airlift the body of the soldier from Leh to Srinagar.     An army soldier Bashir Ahmad Ganaie son of Late Ghulam Hassan Ganaie from Wahabpora Ganie Mohalla of Budgam district succumbed in the Leh hospital on Friday morning after suffering from a brain hemorrhage attack a few days back.     Dr Javaid Ahmed, the cousin of the soldier told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Bashir Ahmed died today in the hospital and now they earnestly appeal to the authorities particularly to LG Manoj Singh to get his body airlifted from Leh to Srinagar. Class 10 result to be declared after 2-3 days: Veena Pandita Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Amid rumours about declaration of result of class 10 annual regular examination, state board of school education on Monday said that result will be declared after two to three days. Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita, confirmed to Kashmir News Service (KNS), and said that result will be declared after two to three days. She said that reports doing rounds on various social media sites regarding declaration of results in a day or two are baseless. Notably, the annual examination for class 10 was held in the month of November last year. (KNS)

45-yr-old man found dead under mysterious conditions in Verinag Verinag, Feb 13 : The body of a 45-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances at Verinag area of Dooru in South Kashmir's Anantnag on Sunday morning, officials said. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body was spotted by some passersby near Panzoo Bridge, Verinag. "Police was called to the site who took the body into their custody," he said. Station House Officer (SHO) Dooru ,Nazir Indrabi confirmed the recovery of the body and identified the deceased as Nisar Ahmad Dar, son of Late Ghulam Mohammad Dar,l of Shamsipora. GANDERBAL:-  Today on 10.02.2022, Ganderbal Police busted a gang of stolen vehicle sellers and recovered 05 Stolen vehicles, which were stolen from various parts of the country. The whole gang was arrested and stolen vehicles were also recovered from their possession in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora.     To give impetus in the ongoing investigation in the vehicle theft case registered at Police Station Ganderbal vide FIR No. 231/2021 under relevant sections of law, SSP Ganderbal, Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS constituted a special team headed by DO Police Post Shadipora under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Hajin Police arrests 3 persons for illegal mining HAJAN 09 Feb 22 : Police in Hajin have arrested three persons involved in illegal excavation and transportation of clay ,Sand and also seized a JCB Machine  A police party from Police station Hajin under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Shri Lateif Ahmad khan led by SHO Hajin raided different locations at Paribal Hajin and found tippers loaded with illegally extracted clay ,Sand on Spot . The Official said they have arrested three people involved in the crime and also seized the tipper and one JCB on spot . Suspected militants hurl grenade during Naka Checking at Ganderbal’s Chapergund   No damage reported in incident; had inputs about militant presence: SSP Gbl   Gabderbal, Feb 07 (KNO): Suspected militants hurled a grenade at SSB post in Chapergund, Ganderbal on Monday during Naka checking by police. However, no damage was reported in the incident.   Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that militants lobbed a grenade on an SSB post at Chappar-gund area of Ganderbal this evening when police had laid a naka on the basis of inputs about militant movement in the area.   “No damage was reported in the incident. We had set up a Naka in the area after receiving inputs about militant movement.
