Pakistan army hands over Kashmiri boy who crossed LoC inadvertently

Kupwara, Aug 5: Pakistan army has handed over a 13-year-old boy to Indian authorities after he had inadvertently crossed the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
   
Official sources told news agency KNT that Rayees Ahmed Kumar son of Muhammad Yaqoob, a resident of Jhanagar Wangal Sadpora village of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district had mistakenly crossed the LoC on January 30 this year and was subsequently arrested by Pakistan Army.
   
He was handed over to Indian authorities at crossing Point Teetwal by military.
  
An official while confirming this said that a formal case vide number 59/2020 under section 2/3 E & IMCO stands registered in this regard. (KNT)
