51 Kg Poppy Straw and cash Rs 30,000 recovered by Jammu Police.
Jammu: On 23-11-2020, a police party of PP Narwal led by Incharge PP Narwal SI Vikas Jasrotia while on naka duty near cut point towards RTO Office, Transport Yard Narwal, apprehended a person namely Gurmeet Singh S/o Joginder Singh R/o Karan Bagh,Gadi Garh Jammu on a truck. On search of the vehicle, total of 51 Kg Poppy Straw and Cash of Rs 30,000 was recovered from his possession. On this, case FIR No. 315/2020 U/S 8/15/25 NDPS Act got registered in P/S Bahu Fort. Accused was arrested and vehicle seized. Further investigation of the case is going on.

Class 10 result to be declared after 2-3 days: Veena Pandita Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Amid rumours about declaration of result of class 10 annual regular examination, state board of school education on Monday said that result will be declared after two to three days. Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita, confirmed to Kashmir News Service (KNS), and said that result will be declared after two to three days. She said that reports doing rounds on various social media sites regarding declaration of results in a day or two are baseless. Hajin Police arrests 3 persons for illegal mining HAJAN 09 Feb 22 : Police in Hajin have arrested three persons involved in illegal excavation and transportation of clay ,Sand and also seized a JCB Machine  A police party from Police station Hajin under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Shri Lateif Ahmad khan led by SHO Hajin raided different locations at Paribal Hajin and found tippers loaded with illegally extracted clay ,Sand on Spot .
