DISTRICT POLICE GANDERBAL DISTRIBUTES COVID-19 KITS AMONG BPL FAMILIES

    Jammu and Kashmir Police has been endeavouring to substantially support the poor and needy families in Society especially during hours of crisis. Although innumerable contributions have been made by J & K Police to prevent spread of Covid-19 and save precious lives, such efforts have been continued and accordingly today at Police Station Ganderbal and Police Station Kheer Bhawani, Covid -19 kits were distributed  by the District Police   Ganderbal containing  Oximeter, Digital Thermometer, Masks, Sanitizer, Gloves, Face shields, Inhaler  etc amongst the BPL families. 
 
   Besides a demonstration on use of said articles,  DySP HQRs Ganderbal Dr Abdul Majid (JKPS) in presence of SHO Ganderbal Insp. Khurshid Awan, SHO Police Station Kheer Bhawani Insp. Tariq Yousuf along with Police paramedics,  gave talk on general awareness about prevention of Covid-19 decease.

       Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal – (JKPS) SSP Ganderbal has requested to the general public to adopt all precautionary measures to save families from Covid-19 pandemic.

Kashmiri soldier dies in Leh, family appeals to LG to get the body airlifted

Budgam, Feb 25, 22: A Budgam family Friday appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to airlift the body of the soldier from Leh to Srinagar.     An army soldier Bashir Ahmad Ganaie son of Late Ghulam Hassan Ganaie from Wahabpora Ganie Mohalla of Budgam district succumbed in the Leh hospital on Friday morning after suffering from a brain hemorrhage attack a few days back.     Dr Javaid Ahmed, the cousin of the soldier told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Bashir Ahmed died today in the hospital and now they earnestly appeal to the authorities particularly to LG Manoj Singh to get his body airlifted from Leh to Srinagar. GANDERBAL POLICE BUSTED A GANG OF STOLEN VEHICLE SELLERS, RECOVERED 05 STOLEN VEHICLES

GANDERBAL:-  Today on 10.02.2022, Ganderbal Police busted a gang of stolen vehicle sellers and recovered 05 Stolen vehicles, which were stolen from various parts of the country. The whole gang was arrested and stolen vehicles were also recovered from their possession in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora.     To give impetus in the ongoing investigation in the vehicle theft case registered at Police Station Ganderbal vide FIR No. 231/2021 under relevant sections of law, SSP Ganderbal, Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS constituted a special team headed by DO Police Post Shadipora under the supervision of DySP Hqrs.
