Militant killed in Srinagar encounter: Police
 
Srinagar, Nov 11 (KNO): An unidentified militant was killed in a brief encounter at Bemina area of Srinagar on Thursday, police said.
 
A police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that acting on a specific lead about the presence of militants near police post Bemina, a brief shoot-out took place in which an unidentified militant was killed.
 
One unidentified #militant killed. 01 AK rifle along with ammunition recovered. Search going on. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir police zone tweeted.

Earlier, police had tweeted that an encounter had started at Srinagar. Police and security forces are on the job. Police said that the search operation is on in the area—(KNO)

Class 10 result to be declared after 2-3 days: Veena Pandita Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Amid rumours about declaration of result of class 10 annual regular examination, state board of school education on Monday said that result will be declared after two to three days. Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita, confirmed to Kashmir News Service (KNS), and said that result will be declared after two to three days. She said that reports doing rounds on various social media sites regarding declaration of results in a day or two are baseless.
